I am wondering why ICRP underestimates the health risk of INTERNAL exposure to radiation.  Studies show that internal exposure to alpha and beta rays have significantly larger impact to human cells and DNAs compared with external exposure to gamma ray.  This is because the distance between radio nuclide and DNAs in cells is extremely short. Also, the frequency of collision of alpha and beta rays is much more than the one of gamma ray (external exposure). I strongly urge ICRP to reflect this reality into their protection criteria.

I am also concerned that the safety standard of 1 mili Sv/year for the public is still high.  I felt that it is irrational and unscientific for the revised report to emphasize the risk of relocation for the purpose of avoiding radiation exposure rather than the risk of exposure to radiation.
